 SPAGHETTI TOWERS CLASS: WHAT A FUN CLASS!!! Engineering never tasted so sweet! Lol! What do all towers have in common? What are the tallest buildings in the world? What are the forces acting on towers? Why do these buildings NOT fall down? What is the strongest geometric shape to build angles? Did you know? There is a proposed ‘Tokyo Tower of Babel’? Check out slide 4 for more CRAZY info! We learned all this info, reviewed with a fun Kahoot game, and then applied it to building our own tall tower out of Spaghetti & Marshmallows. Not only did our Tower need to be built in 30 mins, it needed to be as tall as well as strong because it had to balance a raw egg on top (for at least 5 seconds). So…were we up for the challenge? COULD WE DO IT?
