KITCHEN CHEMISTRY: CABBAGE pH🧪⚗️🧫

Today's class was so much fun. We learned about pH: what it is, what it stands for, what's an acid & base, why it's important in daily life, and why CABBAGE? Yes, Cabbage is a great homemade pH indicator because it contains 'anthocyanin' molecules (which gives it the rich purple hue) and changes colors based on the levels of pH. *FYI, pH stands for 'potential Hydrogen'.*

Then we reviewed the scientific method and conducted our experiments. Basically, we had to PLAY with food!!! Some of our results might surprise you!!! They did for us, as we 'HYPOTHESIZED' the reactions before each experiment...
