DIY: Optical Illusion (Geometric Art)
Here’s a very basic Math & Art project you can do with your kids! (Or yourself, it’s super fun and relaxing!) For all you different types of learners, I created a very quick video (done in 5-10 minutes) showing the process & I also wrote down 6 basic steps that you can adapt to any shape: 1- draw a square 2- put a dot in the center 3- pick any shape (draw it large & within the square) 4- draw the same shape again (but smaller) & inside itself 5- draw 10-12 lines around the square that meet at the center dot 6- pick a place to start coloring. Alternate B&W colors in all the sections. VOILA!!! PS- replace black with another color to jazz it up. Or replace both black and white with 2 different colors for EXTRA TRIPPY drawings! 🤪😝 More complex shapes and designs coming your way in a group class soon! If interested, EMAIL me! Ages 6+ (younger than 6 welcome, but more parent assistance may be required depending on child/skills)DIY: Optical Illusion (Geometric Art)
