Judah and his family are from Australia. They moved to Mexico and needed a Private family tutor. Since Judah was entering Kindergarten, his priority was learning to read. He wanted to read like his 2 big brothers, Malachi & Jeremiah.
I remember our 1st day, he was a little upset I didn't teach him to read already. (LOL! Gotta love that positive peer pressure!) We met every morning for 1.5 hours M-Th for 3 months. We started with the ABC's, Phonics, and Writing. We used crayons, markers, pencils, beans, dough, flashcards, whiteboards, iPad apps, writing in the sand, playing poolside games to make learning fun along with constant encouragement to build his confidence. In just 3 months, he went from a non-reader, to a reader. Great memories! Enjoy the videos below that show Judah's amazing progress! |
